I recently came across this awesome blues lick by John Mayer. You can really hear that he was studying a lot of jazz back then, so he came up with this mixolydian blues line perfectly suited to play over a blues progression.
I WAS MISSING ONE NOTE AT THE END OF THE LICK while transcribing altering it a little. Keep that in mind. Have fun learning it.
