If you ever wondered what types of car USB ports to add to your car and how to add a USB charging port to your car then this is the ultimate video for you to watch.
I searched high and low online for some good USB ports, USB chargers and USB cables to install in a vehicle and found 3 that meet my standards. I have a smart USB adapter cable, a switched USB power panel and a basic dual USB port adapter cable that I bought and will install.
In this video, I show how I hardwire these 3 different USB ports in a car and install using fuse taps. Now the vehicle has enough ports to charge phones, run a USB powered dash cam, power a HUDWAY Drive heads up display, or even CarPlay and Android Auto systems... All clean and without cables cluttering the dash or center console.
