Julie Sanford is here with three great tips for using a jeweler's saw. Sawing requires precision and practice to achieve accurate cuts in various materials.

Before starting, make sure the blade is properly tensioned by adjusting the saw frame’s tension screws. A loose blade can lead to wobbling and inaccurate cuts, while an overly tight blade can lead to blade breakage. Be sure to wear safety glasses when cutting metal.
