I sometimes like to visit the Blender subreddit and try my best to help people starting out with learning the software. The question comes up quite often "what's the best way to get started as an absolute beginner" and I've written out the 3 steps I used several times for various folks, so I thought I'd commit it to a reasonably succinct video so maybe it can help folks out.

I had tried to pick up Blender a bunch of times over the years and fallen off, but once I started learning with this method in mind I could finally make progress. Not saying it will work for everyone, but maybe it can work for some.
