*RECIPES*

Ingredients
-7 oz mead
-1 cinnamon stick
-2 pieces of orange peel
-2 pieces of lemon peel
-juice of ½ lemon
-1 oz elderflower liqueur
-1 oz rosewater
Combine mead, cinnamon stick, orange peel and lemon peel in a saucepan. Heat over low until simmering. Simmer for 1 minute, remove from heat. Stir in lemon juice, elderflower liqueur and rosewater. Strain into glass and serve warm.
For alcohol free: Sub out the mead for 7 oz of floral tea (eg green or orange blossom). Make as directed, sans elderflower liqueur.
*Orc Grog*
Ingredients
-½ cup water
-½ cup honey
-3 inches roughly chopped fresh ginger
-1 strip cooked bacon
-½ tsp salt
-10 oz apple cider
-2 oz dark rum
-juice of ½ lemon
For honey ginger syrup: Combine water, honey and ginger in a saucepan. Heat over medium until simmering. Simmer for 2 minutes, and remove from heat. Allow to cool and steep in the fridge for at least 8 hours. Strain and place in a sealed container.
For bacon rim: Finely chop bacon and salt with a knife, coffee grinder or food processor. Shake out onto a plate. Wet rim of glass with lemon, roll through the fine oily powder.
Heat apple cider. Add rum, 1 oz honey ginger syrup, and lemon juice. Add to bacon-rimmed glass and serve warm.
For alcohol free: Leave out rum
*Ent Draught*
-½ cup sugar
-½ cup water
-3-4 sprigs of fresh rosemary, roughly chopped
-2-3 ice cubes
-2 oz gin
-1 oz lime juice
For rosemary simple syrup: Combine sugar, water and rosemary in a saucepan. Heat over medium until simmering. Simmer for 2 minutes, and remove from heat. Allow to steep for 15-20 minutes. Strain and place in a sealed container.
Place ice, gin, 1 oz rosemary simple syrup and lime juice into a shaker. Shake. Strain into a cold glass, garnish with rosemary sprig.
For alcohol free: Sub out gin for 2-4 oz tonic water or sparkling water. Stir, not shake.
