In this video I will go over my experience with the 3 USB to USB C adapters I tried and discuss how charging and data capabilities are important to consider as not every adapter is built the same. I show you how to test these USB adapters with a USB tester. Also, there are additional features that will be good to look for in one of these adapters. Don't you hate it when you need to charge your new cell phone and no one has a USB-C charger available. Even an older laptop will only have a regular USB-A port. Normal USB-A to Micro-B USB cables are everywhere now-a-days and it's likely that if you need to borrow a cable or charger from someone they will only have the Micro USB type.
Not only does USB-C make your existing Micro USB cables unusable, but it also affects your Micro USB accessories. For example, if you have a Seek Thermal Infrared Camera with a micro USB plug, you're not going to go out and buy another Seek Thermal camera as it's a waste of money.
