North Korea's isolation from the western world unfortunately leaves it open to bad faith discussion just about every time they're brought up. With the US being the most propagandized country on Earth (yes, way worse than North Korea), you could literally make up any lie about North Korea, and people will believe it. Take Yeonmi Park for example. Today though, I bust 3 lies about the so-called "hermit kingdom" and present the truth.
