Adding onto what 5 Knights Trucks Accessories mentioned! When purchasing a trailer hitch, keep these 3 important things in mind:
⚠️ Weight Capacity: Check the weight capacity of your hitch, truck, and trailer to match your towing needs. Overloading can be dangerous and cause damage.
📏 Proper Drop Length: Make sure you get a proper drop length for your truck and trailer. We recommend having at least 11" of ground clearance with a hitch! (Nobody likes scraping their hitch on the ground...)
🔐 Hitch Locking Pin: Don't forget a hitch locking pin! When you add a hitch pin to your hitch order, they will automatically come keyed alike.
