The first night I hiked in a little over 2 miles to Crane Pond. The second night I hiked 4-5 miles over to Pharaoh Lake and stayed at I think lean-to #4 on the East side of the lake. The hike to Crane Pond was much easier than the hike to Pharaoh Lake, it was less steep and had better maintained trails. Apparently the giant puddle you saw me cross in the beginning and end of the video gets a lot bigger when there's been a lot of rain so if you plan to do this trip plan accordingly!
