Is your shirt just a little too short? I’ve got three simple and creative ways to give those tops some extra length—and a second chance in your wardrobe!
I love wearing soft, comfy cotton t-shirts, but I’ve noticed that over time (and after lots of washing), they tend to shrink up. Suddenly they’re hitting right at the top of my pants—and that’s not the look I’m going for. While cropped styles work for some, I prefer a bit more coverage.
So instead of tossing those too-short shirts, try one of these easy DIY fixes:
- Add length using the hem from another shirt
- Sew on a wide lace trim
- Use a ribbed knit fabric for a stylish and stretchy finish
