Three alternative fashion t-shirt DIYs for beginner and intermediate sewers! These projects will teach you how to embellish t-shirts with embroidery, applique, and (not so) decorative zippers. I used thrifted shirts for these tutorials, but feel free to use whatever you have on hand!

If you have any other beginner-friendly projects you'd like me to demonstrate, feel free to suggest them in the comments below. I love making more complex sewing vlogs, but I'd also like to put together more resources that can be followed along by those still learning how to sew their own clothes. DIY is such a big part of so many alternative subcultures (like goth, punk, etc.), so it's great to have a variety of tutorials available on the internet.
