Out bushcrafting for 3 days finally. Back from some time off over the holidays. Didnt plan to be away for so long but had this mild cold with a cough that wouldt go away for a month. Tested negative but... still no smell ..taste is still there thank god even though its changed. First day out was really tough. Had to rest every minute. Then I felt stronger for each day and after day three I felt 100%.
Used the Russian Plash Palatka again. A really nice poncho/shelter...even though its a bit on the small side. So having the Carinthia defence 4, military grade sleeping bag here was a good combo. Not the easiest weather to do this in, when its pending just over and under freezing, but I was pretty comfortable and I didnt freeze much.
As always stuff for crafting is brought to site and not harvested on location. Leave no trace. Enjoy!
