I spent 3 perfect days backpacking the Greenstone Caples Track on New Zealand's epic South Island! This hike had bridges GALORE! Often overlooked for the nearby, and far more popular, Routeburn Track, the Greenstone Caples circuit is possibly New Zealand's most stunning, and underrated hike. Over 60 kilometers, Rainer and I hiked along clear rivers, over bridges, through dense beech forests and wide open valleys, under stunning mountain peaks, and we saw all sorts of incredible birds along the way. This was the New Zealand tramp of my dreams, and completing this gorgeous, and diverse, mountain circuit is an adventure I'll never forget!
