One of the primary reasons Christians doubt their faith is the mistreatment of LGBTQ individuals. Progressive Christian Pastor, Colby Martin, said the affirmation of LGBTQ people is one of the four things integral to the Progressive Christian movement. I realize this is a vast subject with a ton of nuance to it. And I want to state my audience and goals out front, so there is no confusion. If you are LGBTQ affirming, I hope you are nodding in agreement as I present these arguments. If you hold a Traditional Christian view, I hope to give your a perspective you might not have heard yet. At the end, I will provide where I stand on this issue.
