Stranger Things Season 3 The Best Yet? Michael Snow 2019-07-06 | Stranger Things season 3 has defied my own expectations and retained and even exceeded the first two seasons with a brilliant continuation of the story of monsters, evil governments and growing up in the 1980s.The 80s-ness for lack of real word in the show has been cranked up to 11 with a very blade runner 2049-esque neon pink and electric blue color palette and garish 80s clothing. I didn't mention every little detail in here such as how great Erica is as a main character or how smokin' hot Cara Buono is (Karen Wheeler is gorgeous!) or the shift in Max and El's relationship during an adorable (and very 1980s) clothing try-on montage. Team Silent really outdid themselves here referencing Franics Bacon, Jacob's Ladder and including similar themes to Twin Peaks.
