The partnership will bring Wisk’s self-flying, all-electric air taxi services to Japan. Additionally, Wisk and JAL Engineering (JALEC), will work closely together to develop plans for the maintenance and operation of Wisk’s autonomous air taxis.

In October 2023, we began test flights at Long Beach airport in the greater Los Angeles area, making Wisk the first-ever company to complete eVTOL flights in Los Angeles!
These flights allowed us to conduct autonomous flight operations in a complex, real-world, commercial airport environment, alongside other passenger airline operations.
Most importantly, it allowed us to demonstrate the safety of autonomous passenger flight and prove that autonomous flight is happening today!
We concluded our Long Beach test flights with a public demonstration flight during Long Beach Airport's Festival of Flight on October 21 (video here: youtu.be/6TiIE7ll7Eg?si=rdx-dx0EX1D-Gs47).

We also want to share that our 5th Generation air taxi (Cora), isn’t going anywhere! Our fleet of 5th Generation aircraft is one of the largest #eVTOL air taxi fleets in the world and will continue to be a visible part of our program going forward. We will continue to take Cora on the road to events and airshows (so, stay tuned!).
