Even though it looks like Thief has (almost) all the tools to deal with HTCM mechanics, there are quite a bunch of small annoyances, e.g. the limited AoE cleave, some jank with invisibility (DE reveals, DD dodge being a lead finisher, ..) which made us take way longer than anticipated to get this done. We played pretty the standard strat and just supplemented Thief skills whenever needed. Portal Specters were heavily focused on utility, so additional boonstrips, cleanse well, AoE CC, while Kiters and qDE combined sacrificed some utility skills for stealth and projectile block (Smoke Screen and Blinding Powder). However, the recent changes made it also much more enjoyable and easy to actually play: 10 man portals (instead of 5), Spear (some added 5 target cleave, even though not a lot of ppl where playing it), Staff 2 animation lock removed, Scepter 2 (more comfy for Kiters) and overall dps increase compared to a couple of months ago. Comparing some older to recent logs, it's a difference of 250k to 310k+ Kralk phase squad dps.

Note regarding F2: You could use it for boonstripping the boss. I was just too lazy to time it. I still play with shortbow which is personal preference. You could also play pistol/pistol for more pushing power.

We were running a mix of Power and Condi Builds to maximize all Conditions but still have some Burst for the Champions later. Following some important changes to the Builds: • Vindicator played with Jalis/Ventari for more Taunt/Stab (if needed) • Reaper was responsible for Chill and hopefully doesn’t yeet off or getting chinned • Our Condi Herald used Mallyx/Jalis together with a Shortbow for Slow/Taunt and Resistance in Zhaitan plus some F2 shenanigans for the Fear. Changed Relic to Nightmare for more Fear • Condi Druid was there for our Immobilize and lot of other Conditions. Some special Pets to increase Fear/Confusion on Range • Both Scourge were running Warhorn/Sword Offhand to increase Fear uptime. • DPS Scourge was additionally running CPC for instant Weakness and Primordus Phase • Chrono Portals swapped Disenchanter for Defender for even more Taunt • Our HAM Kite played with Pistol/Pistol, Bomb Kit and Superconducting Signet to have easier time to apply Confusion. Changed Relic to Nightmare for more Fear • On most of the Condi Builds we additionally played with the Superior Sigil of Mischief for more Blind • Changes for greens and red placements in some Phases

Rangers have a pretty stacked toolkit and power creep has also shown its face in the meantime, most notably with how strong Maces are offensive and defensively. The plethora of available dps allowed us to run a few stance-share Soulbeasts (3 in total), who brought Dolyak and Bear Stance for additional Stability, damage reduction and condition cleanse. Druid also brings lots of boons and was also stealthing by blasting the Smoke field from the Smokescale pet. All used Ranger builds perform decent in HT CM already as well, so we didn't need to make a lot of adaptations. We of course missed Portals, but this simply meant more movement that cost some dps. It was honestly not really a challenge compared to previous stacking runs, because of how much the game and the tools you have available have advanced.

Well of Silence and Shadowstep can be exchanged and mixed with Signet of Agility and Shadow Portal to your personal likings. Before the fight starts, put your personal target on an ally in your subgroup and make sure you have "take personal target" keybinded for an optimal Zhaitan. You can boonstrip at the start of every dragon phase with F1. If you're not the main boonstrip you can use F1 off cd, otherwise you can (almost always) hold it until the boons appear.

For this run we stacked Warriors and used every Elite as well as Core specialization. Bladesworn and Berserker for DPS, Spellbreaker for the Boonstrip, and a core Warrior + Bladesworn as Heal Quickness Kites. Warrior generally has access to a lot of tools to handle the various mechanics of HT CM and even without Alac and all of the other utility in normal runs (Portals, Invis, ..), the damage was still more than enough to beat it.

Playing scourge on ht cm is a bit sad. The damage is basically not existent (even if you would execute an optimized rotation) and lifeforce was short as well (no signet of undeath =( )
For this run we stacked Necromancer and used every Elite specialisation as part of our strategy. Necro overall does not have good Protection uptime and ranged healing capabilities, which was scary on some parts. However, thanks to Reaper shroud and especially the additional damage reduction from Reaper shroud 3, we were able to mitigate a lot of incoming damage. The Might output is also relatively low in general on Necro, at least when it comes to party wide Might, but since Reaper has a lot of self-Might, this also was not a big deal. Since we did not have any Invisibility, we had to play all of the Add/Champion phases without it and hence adapted our moving/stacking patterns in some places to better control how enemies move. Overall this was challenge was on the shorter end of time: We wiped 72 times over 3 sessions.
Please don't look at my rotation, ty. This run was something special, not only because we stacked one class, but also we stacked one race! Everyone who did not have one, had to create a Norn Guardian for this challenge, because we needed the Snow Leopard Elite Transformation for Invisibility. Our strategy was relatively straight forward, 2x Healbenders did the usual kiting job, with the only exception that in some phases we split them apart on each side, such that the quickness Firebrands could Merciful Intervention on top of them for the Greens. For boonstrips, we used Nullification Sigils on the Kites and on some second weapon sets. For the Orbs we used Shield of the Avenger, Firebrands F3-3 Bubble and Shield 5, to block the projectiles.

I was responsible for boon stripping the boss and some champs.
A few strategic issues made this run interesting in particular. We don't have portals, Revenant generally does not have far-range blinks and maybe most importantly, there is no way in the general Revenant skillset to stealth. The first two points can simply be adapted for by moving early enough for mechanics, but no stealth required some finetuning. A substantial portion of the progress was spent figuring out how we can sort of consistently handle all of the adds during the intermissions. Eventually combining specific positioning and Superspeed was enough to get the adds and most importantly the Giants close enough together to deal with them. For the Champions in the last phase we decided to transition directly on the Goliath, thereby killing it immediately and kiting the Obliterator as good as possible away the whole time. Other notable issues were that Revenant is generally quite bad for pushing Orbs, except for Kalla/Shortbow on Renegade. That is why we decided to bring a Power Renegade, which would have otherwise been just another Vindicator. The pushing power from Kalla is also used on one of the Kites for consistent fast pushing. To boonstrip the boss, we decided to use a dedicated Power Herald that strips with the Shiro F2 active. The cooldown and rotation lines somewhat up with the 20 seconds timer of the boons. For backups and some more stripping (e.g. adds) we also had Mallyx on both Kites. Overall, it was very fun to combine all the different tools/Legends that Revenant has available to tackle all of the mechanics HT CM throws at you. Thanks to Kartky, Spinerek and Wereft for backups.
