[LIVE] Shiny Abra after 1,888 Seen in Pokemon Silver (+Evolutions) DavidTheGENWUNNER 2023-08-14 | Hey guys its DTG back with a special hunt for you guys! I needed a stand in Psychic type for Morty, Chuck and Team Rocket, so I decided to go after Abra at the Goldenrod Game Corner. Had to win some coins beforehand, so I tried my luck with the slot machines haha. Also, I'll let you guys in on a little secret. When you go inside, go to the 1st Column, 2nd row on the right, sit down in the 2nd chair from the top. This particular machine is usually occupied by a gambler, EXCEPT in the morning! This is the luckiest slot in the Goldenrod Game Corner! Getting coins this way is slightly faster than Card Flip. But it is a bit slower than fighting the Elite Four or flat out buying them. Both of those options were out of the question for me. First of all, I was too broke and secondly, I needed Abra now, not after I beat the game haha. Well, that's all I got for now. To make this hunt possible, I traded over an Oddish, I caught in Gold just to make this hunt a little faster. Just a heads up there is one more utility Mon that I'll be going for after this. So to kick things off, I decided to hunt for Shiny Totodile the water starter and found him after 5,014 SRs in Pokemon Silver! [LIVE] Shiny Chinchou after 296 fishing encounters in Pokemon Gold DavidTheGENWUNNER 2023-04-08 | Guys, I'm very proud to present to you Dream Team member number 4, Shiny Chinchou after 296 FEs! Phase 2 over, mission accomplished! I just recorded the first ever live shiny fishing encounter for Shiny Chinchou in Gen 2! A historic moment in Gen 2 Shiny Hunting! I couldn't have done it without you guys' support and challenging me to do tougher hunts. In my opinion this is one of Gamefreaks best designs and typings in all of Pokemon. For sure one of my favorite Pokemon of all time. It was a dramatic catch but it was all worth it in the end. Fishing along with headbutting is very slow and tedious. Your not guaranteed an encounter each time you cast your line or headbutt a tree. Definitely a satisfying end to a unique hunt. By the way, I get really nervous when I find a shiny so I apologize if I stumble over my own words haha. Also, my laptop is midrange so it struggles to record OBS at times, so I have to constantly tweak the settings to try and give you guys the best content I possibly can. LIVE! Shiny Machop/Eevee After 312 combined Egg Hatches! [Gold] DavidTheGENWUNNER 2023-03-14 | Hey guys its DTG back again with another one! First, I want to apologize for all the egg hunts lately. After this video you won't have to worry about anymore egg hunts in my Gold DTQ. I will be doing nothing but hunts that involve soft resets and random encounters the rest of the way. I've got some really great content coming so stay tuned! So after breeding the male Shiny Mr. Mime that I got previously with the female Machop that I got from the in-game trade, I finally hatched DTQ#2 a female Shiny Machop after 148 egg hatches. I wanted a fighting type before Whitney that would be immune to Miltank's move Attract, plus two egg moves on it, Encore and Meditate. Next, using a male regular Snubbull I traded from Crystal and a female shiny gene Eevee I traded over from Silver, I finally got a DTQ#3 Shiny Eevee after 164 egg hatches. The reasoning for breeding, instead of SRing for a Shiny Eevee was I wanted the egg moves Charm and Bite. Also, I wanted it to learn a certain move at level 16, which the level 20 Eevee you get from Bill will miss out on. Lastly, don't miss the Eeveelution at the end of the video! Anyway, I highly recommend everybody check out PKMNcast, who made a video called "How to Breed WITHOUT Shiny Ditto in Pokemon Gold, Silver, Crystal! Breeding & Egg Guide!"(See Link below). LIVE! Shiny Gastly After 23,811 combined REs! [Gold] DavidTheGENWUNNER 2023-02-24 | Hey guys I'm back again but this time with a little drama haha. The first Shiny Gastly I found was at 22,907 REs so you can imagine how distraught and heartbroken I was when I failed it. I learned a lesson never hit a Shiny Pokemon with moves that Crit and put the Pokemon to Sleep before trying to catch it! Anyway, the good Lord decided to bless me with another Shiny Gastly hours later after 904 REs! I was able to reclaim but not without a fight haha.
