Hope is a function of progress. When officers don’t have a plan during an arrest, they lack control of the subject, and this poor control allows the subject to make progress against them. As long as the subject is making progress, they will continue fighting, and as long as they’re fighting, the risk of rapid force escalation exists.

What makes the SafeWrap system such an amazing tool is that it gives the officers a very clear plan on how to establish the highest level of control in the safest way possible. When the subject’s progress is completely halted, they lose hope at which point taking them into custody is so much easier.

The first 2-day SafeWrap Instructor Certification Course is October 7-8, 2024, at Gracie University HQ. It’s open to representatives from all government and private sector organizations, as well as any civilians looking to learn the system for personal and family safety.

Any organization that has one or more of its staff members certified may obtain a free 12-month institutional license to teach the SafeWrap system to all of its staff members to evaluate the system’s effectiveness within the organization. If it doesn’t not meet or exceed all expectations, the organization can cancel the agreement without any further obligation to Gracie University.

Learn more at http://www.SafeWrapSystem.com.

If anyone has the backstory please provide it in comments. If anyone knows the officers, please connect me so we can sponsor their SafeWrap instructor course participation.
