This is the Second Annual President’s Forum on Conflict and Conflict Transformation, hosted by the USU Office of the President. He discusses the profound crisis of U.S. political polarization, characterized by an alarming erosion of trust within our democracy. Judge Griffith will share how the U.S. Constitution's foundational principles of negotiation and compromise can provide pathways to address the increasing toxic polarization facing the United States.
The conversation continues with an insightful panel featuring Lord Dr. Michael Hastings and Dr. Jeannie Johnson, bringing their expertise in diplomacy and political science to the table. Moderated by Dr. Joseph P. Ward, a historian with a talent for sparking meaningful dialogue.
