2N4033 PNP transistor in a TO-39 package.
I could utilize my recently made transistor can opener to open this nice general-purpose PNP silicon transistor.
It has a nice comb pattern on its silicon die. I tried to identify the base and emitter. I used the "Discrete Semiconductor Products" book from National Semiconductor as a guide. Before anyone would look for the third pin, it is buried, that's why it is not visible from the top.
