How long has Ben from Cleave to Antiquity been a closet Orthodox acting like a Protestant? Ben joins Father Peter Heers on the Orthodox Ethos channel to share his conversion testimony leaving Protestantism to the Orthodox Church. Ben has been holding hands with Catholics and Orthodox, promoting many unbiblical doctrines like water baptism is essential to be saved (baptismal regeneration), the Eucharist is the real presence of Jesus Christ, Marian dogmas like the Perpetual Virginity of Mary and Theotokos Mary Mother of God, and Mary Apparitions and Mary Icons, Intercession of Mary and Saints, etc. This is not surprising but it is disturbing as he has been acting like an Evangelical Protestant in disguise for who knows how long, and will he fully embrace the Orthodox teachings on the gospel, Mary intercession, and the Synodikon of Orthodoxy and the Anathemas? Who is the Great Crowd? Street Cart Crash talking to Jehovah's Witnesses about what happens when we die where do we go? Jehovah's Witnesses believe that only the 144000 spoken of in Revelation 7:4 and Revelation 14:1 are those special anointed ones who will go to heaven and all others who are worthy to get eternal life are what is called the Great Crowd in which they believe that they will live on earth forever. Now Jehovah's Witnesses have a different gospel, a works based false gospel to be exact, and believe they get eternal life i.e. saved by being loyal to the Organization, doing works, and they hope they get eternal life but have no assurance. The Bible is clear all who are born again Christians can know you have eternal life now (1 John 5:13), and that when Christians die they go immediately to the presence of God in heaven (Philippians 1:21-24), even the Great Crowd is in heaven (Revelation 19:1). Berean Perspective Apologetics 2025-09-04 | How to effectively witness to Latter Day Saints/ Mormons from the Book of Mormon, Doctrines & Covenants, the Pearl of Great Price, and the Bible. In the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints they believe that there was a great apostasy and that the church was lost until God called Joseph Smith to be a latter day prophet and restore the fullness of the gospel back on earth. According to official Latter Day Saints teachings Joseph Smith was from the lineage (tribe, loins) of Ephraim from Joseph and Asenath in the book of 2 Nephi 3:6-15 and Genesis 41:51, and from that prophecy latter on in 1820 in what is called the Joseph Smith Testimony or Vision (Joseph Smith History 1:16-20) God the Father and Jesus Christ appeared to him calling in to be a latter day prophet, and 9 years later Joseph Smith was given a special Melchizedek Priesthood authority in 1829 to restore the church and preach. Mormon LDS apologist thought he would refute me and then this happened! Learn to ask these types of questions next time you talk to Mormons. Learning to ask questions Mormons can’t answer is helpful on how to witness to Mormons. A Latter Day Saint joined my open mic and questioned me on what I knew about the Church of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints beliefs and doctrines, and he (TJ Hale, Halestorm) was confused at me for teaching people how to witness to Mormons and Mormon Missionaries. We discussed topics on the Great Apostasy, the Restored Gospel, and looked at Galatians 1:6-9 on Mormons having a false gospel, 1 Corinthians 15:29 on baptism for the dead, 1 Corinthians 15:40-44 on 3 different glories or 3 different heavens, Matthew 7:15 and Matthew 7:21-23 on false prophets, and Doctrines and Covenants 84:17-22 on Joseph Smith testimony of seeing God the Father in 1820 (according to him) and receiving the Melchizedek Priesthood Authority in 1829 (according to LDS) and how did Joseph Smith see God the Father and live without having the Melchizedek Priesthood Authority in 1820, and other things. This was an excellent Mormon vs Christian debate in which the evidence was shown that Joseph Smith is a false prophet, his testimony is not true, and Latter Day Saints have been deceived. Asking good questions from Galatians 1:6-9 and Doctrines and Covenants 84:20-22 destroys and exposes the false teachings of Joseph Smith and Mormonism.
