2K has officially updated its Code of Conduct, and there are some major changes that players across WWE 2K, NBA 2K, and other 2K titles need to know about. The updated rules specifically address cheating, hacking, unauthorized mods, exploits, manipulation of game systems, artificial traffic, harmful uploads, third-party software, account creation, and abuse of reporting systems.
The new guidelines also make it clear that 2K can take action against players who use unauthorized methods to gain an unfair advantage, including potential suspensions, bans, loss of access to features, or restrictions on online services. 2K's existing player-conduct policies already allow corrective action ranging from warnings and temporary suspensions to permanent bans depending on the severity of the violation.
This could have some BIG implications for the WWE 2K community, especially with the ongoing discussions surrounding mods, exploits, hacked content, Custom Creations, MyFACTION, and other ways players manipulate or distribute content.
