In Hitfilm, one can use 2D layers, elements or planes, to create the illusion of a 3D environment. In other words: you can add depth to your video. Here are some old and new shots I made using this feature.
This video includes digital recreations of the famous historical cemetery Saint Innocents in Paris. The helicopter crash within the first shot was done in Sketchup using Skeychy Physics.
