If you, a loved one, or someone you know has been impacted by this event, my heart aches for you. While the effects of this tragedy may have sparked nothing but a simple fear in me, I can not begin to fathom the pain of living through it in closer proximity. I wished to share my limited experience with 9/11 as I believe most Americans can relate to being either young at the time, scared from a distance, or grieving from afar. I also know what it's like first hand to experience tragedy and have the world carry on without you. Just know we have not forgotten. We never will. Even if it's a hard burden to carry, it's easier to carry when the weight is shared. Stay strong. Your story must go on.
