I have a few 286 computers, and have been wanting to continue working on some of them for a while:
- My talking Emerson 500EC is ready to make another attempt at putting it back together again. I have added spade terminals to the cord connected to the original power switch, bought an ATX to AT power adapter, and realized that one of my Mad Dog ATX power supplies meets the needs of this system (fan not located on bottom, plenty of Molex and berg power connectors, has the -5V rail).
-My original Compaq LTE/286 has been awaiting a working power supply to test its recap job, and I recently picked up a 2MB RAM card for it that I'd like to test.
-And if we have time, we'll take the oscilloscope to my Western Digital 286 board that never displays a video image.
Will the Emerson 500EC resist attempts to put it back together? Will my original Compaq LTE/286 motherboard work? Will we have time to look into the WD motherboard? You'll have to watch to find out!

Adam sent me an Apple ][+ that needs repairs, and COMPUTER is suffering from bad 74LS-series chips. Can I fix both computers using eBay (the place where I buy things I later regret)? Maybe. But the more important question is, Will there be regrets along the way?
Will COMPUTER say COMPUTER again? Will the Apple ][+ say APPLE ][ again? Will all the parts even arrive in time for this stream? Youll have to watch to find out!
