It's a 16x16 sliding puzzle. Second attempt, first was like 38 minutes, so this is a pretty good improvement (probably mostly thanks to the rainbow coloring!). This took 9940 moves at 5.859 tps, as you can see from the video. I recorded this at 10x speed.
I'm thinking I should've done more rows before switching to columns, as I had some trouble making the first few columns... the extra movement might be worth the recognition.

Solving a Gigaminx in 14:51 on the gelatinbrain applet.
My method:
1) Solve the centers with 1x2 blocks, like on the 5x5x5
2) Pair up the edges, again like on 5x5x5 (I show two different ways here, either doing a tredge at a time or solving with 3-cycles)
3) Solve the rest like Megaminx
