I often hear people saying that digital pianos sound just as good, if not better than, the acoustic piano they were sampled from. While digital pianos do have a purpose, it isn't to replace an acoustic grand piano. So in this video, I figured I'd take a look at the worst case of a sample not sounding like the real deal - the Williams "digital piano".

The main problem I have with Williams products is not just that they have an incredibly low build and sound quality. If they were marketed as toys I wouldn't have even made this video. Williams touts their sound quality as "excellent", when in reality it's as far from that as you can get, and they claim their instruments are world-class, high quality, and inspirational, which they are not. It's the pretentiousness from Williams that really inspired this video, as they brag about sampling a Fazioli F308 for their instruments, and how good it sounds.
