We are especially proud of the work from our art department as they generated 14 competing designs for hand-painted gold embellishments to accompany the custom base paint color to match the extant Classical Italian decor of this Romanesque/Byzantine style cathedral. The client settled on an obvious choice. This was to allow the main line array speakers to be flown in open air for maximum sound quality in an already "difficult" acoustic space for amplification. Of absolute necessity was the ease of day-to-day operation, achieved seamlessly by the Yamaha MRX7-D processor. Alpha personnel configured the complex digital system for "turn-key" control by iPad and wall panel, which allow non-technical church staff to utilize the essential system elements with intuitive simplicity. The Dante digital network provides incredible stability and future expandability, as they anticipate the space being used more and more for special events and concerts.
