On International Children’s Day, Bishkek, the capital of Kyrgyzstan, hosted the 23rd overseas leg of the Hangzhou Asian Games Fun Run.
Around 200 young children, aged 11-14, participated in the 1km Fun Run at Ala Too Square.
The event garnered a great local crowd of over 600 people, showcasing the rich local sports tradition and culture.
The event was attended by notable figures including Sadyr Mamytov, the President of the National Olympic Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic; Yu Yongtao, HAGOC representative and Deputy Director of Human Resources Department; Wissam Trkmani, OCA Projects and Operations Manager; and Ms. Du Dewen, Ambassador of the People’s Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic.
