Dai più antichi miti ai manoscritti medievali, dalle più recenti opere pittoriche e letterarie a quelle cinematografiche, il coniglio vanta una lunga storia di riferimenti immaginifici. Sotto le sembianze di ancestrali divinità o in veste di messaggero di verità e resurrezione o ancora come raffigurazione di un mondo alla rovescia, il coniglio è una creatura della Luna che costella le tradizioni di tutto il mondo.
La grafica della 23a edizione del Lucania Film Festival si ispira alla figura leggendaria del Coniglio lunare. La storia narra che durante le notti di luna piena è possibile scorgere, tra i crateri e gli avvallamenti della luna, la forma di un coniglio: gli Dei avevano deciso di donargli un posto dove fosse ammirabile da molti.
From the most ancient myths to medieval manuscripts, from the latest pictorial and literary works to cinematographic ones, the rabbit claims a long legacy of imaginative references.
