One-off recording of The Prestidigitators under the name Snotnosed prior to the real Snotnosed becoming active. This original Snotnosed was the Punk side project of The Prestidigitators playing all structured material as opposed to improv based material.
The music of E! A! Gog! Magog! was inspired by the Django Reinhardt track Rhythme Futur (https://youtu.be/_IO8qSWRsLcand). The lyrics (and subsequent title) were originally improvised gibberish but later revealed via the Allen Ginsberg track/poem Hum Bomb.
Initially released and still available on the filesharing programme Soulseek with 10-15 cassette copies made which were all given away and mailed to friends for free. Handmade artwork by both members (most a mix of collage and black marker scrawl like the copy pictured)")
