Fortunately an amendment that ensures the US will not torture people has passed in the senate by a significant margin. Sadly 21 members of the US senate think it is acceptable for the US to torture people. I'd like to highlight their names for the record and appeal to these reactionary states, please stop sending these fools to serve in congress. They do not represent me and I don't think they represent the majority of Americans.
