The 2027 Genesis GV60 Magma has a Boost Mode that adds up to 40 extra horsepower for 15 seconds — we raced the same GV60 Magma against itself, once with Boost Mode off and once with it on, to show exactly what that power bump does in real time.
What is GV60 Magma Boost Mode?
Boost Mode is a temporary performance overlay on the Genesis GV60 Magma that increases output by up to 40 horsepower for a 15-second window, giving the all-electric performance SUV a short burst of extra acceleration on top of its standard power.
How long does GV60 Magma Boost Mode last?
15 seconds per activation, after which the GV60 Magma returns to its standard power output.
How much extra power does Boost Mode add?
Up to 40 additional horsepower on top of the GV60 Magma's base output.
