IAEA Director General Rafael Mariano Grossi and U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright are expected to hold a press conference at 12:30 EST on 26 August 2026 in Washington, D.C.

The press conference will take place in connection with the launch of ATLAS, a new IAEA initiative focused on the safe, secure and peaceful use of nuclear technologies at sea.
