Diesel variants of the Toyota Hilux received a five-star ANCAP safety rating in December 2025. Following the recent introduction of battery-electric Hilux variants, ANCAP conducted frontal offset (MPDB) and oblique pole crash tests on the Hilux BEV. These additional tests assess the battery integrity and safety of the high voltage electrical systems in two severe crash types, and verified that Hilux BEV variants deliver comparable safety performance to their diesel equivalents. As a result, all Toyota Hilux variants - excluding Rugged X - now hold the top safety rating.

![MAYBACH S 680 (2027) The Pinnacle of Luxury [No Talking]
The new Mercedes‑Maybach S‑Class arrives with a clear ambition: to redefine what a luxury saloon can be. The transformation is both technical and emotional in nature – a vehicle conceived as a place of absolute relaxation, supreme craftsmanship and technological sophistication. The Mercedes‑Benz Operating System (MB.OS), used in a Maybach model for the first time, creates a digital experience world that is intuitive, elegant and intelligent.
At the summit of the line-up in Europe and some other markets sits the latest evolution of the eight‑cylinder (M 177 Evo) in the Mercedes‑Maybach S 680, delivering 450 kW + 17 kW and 850 Nm + 205 Nm for greater power and sharper response – now on a par with the current 12‑cylinder unit. Technical upgrades and the mild-hybrid technology (ISG 2.0) ensure agile, linear power delivery with efficient energy recuperation, while two Lanchester balance shafts provide exceptional refinement. In selected markets, the Mercedes‑Maybach S 680 continues to be offered with the celebrated V12 (M 279), rated at 450 kW.
