The 2026 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® Women’s World Championship marks the first-ever Women’s World Championship in the history of the sport, bringing the world’s best female woodchopping athletes together to fight for the inaugural global title.
Athletes from around the world will compete with axes and chainsaws across four classic TIMBERSPORTS® disciplines:
Stock Saw
Underhand Chop
Single Buck
Standing Block Chop
The competition follows a points-based format, where athletes earn points based on their times in each discipline. The faster the cut, the more points they score - and the athlete with the highest total will be crowned the first Women’s World Champion in STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® history.
With razor-thin margins, explosive power and elite technical skill on display, every second on the clock can change the final standings.
