The 2026 STIHL TIMBERSPORTS® North American Trophy brings the best woodchopping athletes from the United States and Canada to Virginia Beach for one of the fastest and most intense formats in the sport.
Watch elite TIMBERSPORTS® athletes battle it out with axes and chainsaws in the explosive Trophy format - a head-to-head knockout competition where every second counts.
Athletes race through four disciplines in one continuous run:
Stock Saw
Underhand Chop
Single Buck
Standing Block Chop
Each heat lasts around one minute. The faster athlete advances to the next round and the slower athlete is eliminated. Speed, precision and flawless transitions decide who stays in the competition.
Among the top contenders in Virginia Beach are Jason Lentz, Matt Cogar, Nate Hodges, Ben Cumberland, Stirling Hart and Geoff Larkin, representing two of the strongest nations in professional woodchopping.
