브루나이에서 시작해 할리우드, 인도, 자카르타까지.
20년 넘게 자신만의 음악으로 국경을 넘어온 싱어송라이터, 파크룰 라지.

2013년에는 브루나이 아티스트 최초로 ‘World Championship of Performing Arts(WCOPA)’ 결선에 진출했고, 인도 음악 경연 프로그램 ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’에서는 ASEAN 참가자 중 유일하게 Top 11에 이름을 올렸습니다. 세계적인 음악 축제 ‘Java Jazz Festival’ 무대에도 오르며 국제적인 활동을 이어왔습니다.

14살부터 곡을 써온 파크룰 라지는 파워풀한 보컬을 바탕으로 브루나이를 대표하는 아티스트로 자리매김했습니다. 대표곡 ‘Keris Sakti’는 유튜브 조회수 3,500만 회를 넘어섰으며, 인기 애니메이션 ‘Upin & Ipin’을 통해 해외에서도 주목받았습니다. 방송과 MC, 음악 경연 심사위원 등 다양한 영역에서도 활동하며 브루나이의 음악과 문화를 알리고 있습니다.

From Brunei to Hollywood, India, and Jakarta.
For over two decades, singer-songwriter Fakhrul Razi has taken his music beyond borders.

In 2013, he became the first Bruneian artist to reach the Grand Finals of the World Championship of Performing Arts (WCOPA). He also made the Top 11 on India’s music competition show ‘Dil Hai Hindustani’ as the only contestant from an ASEAN country to do so. He has continued to gain international recognition by performing at major events, including the renowned Java Jazz Festival.

Fakhrul began writing songs at the age of 14 and has established himself as one of Brunei’s leading artists with his powerful vocals. His hit single ‘Keris Sakti’ has garnered over 35 million views on YouTube and gained international recognition through the popular animated franchise ‘Upin & Ipin’. Beyond music, he has also worked as a broadcaster, MC, and talent competition judge, continuing to share Bruneian music and culture with wider audiences.
