- June 1-30 build, test, tune.
- July 1-31 POOR BOYS SPEED RUN CHALLENGE 2026!
- Upload your speed runs to YouTube in 1080p or higher - Use #2026pbsrc
- MUST upload to YouTube. Other video formats will automatically be deleted.
- Film in Landscape mode
- Email me (poorboysrc78@gmail.com) a link to your speed run video. Personal BEST runs only. In that email provide me your class and top speed achieved in the video. If the video is longer than 4 minutes, provide me the time stamp of the speed run.
- Speeds measured in MPH
- If I can’t see the run, it’s disqualified.
- 1 car per entrant.
- Pick your race class between June 1 and July 1.
- NO CHANGING CLASSES after July 1st.
- Use #2026pbsrc in social media posts
- Only send me your PB (personal best) runs. Not every single upload.
- Crashes don’t count. Minor, maybe? Up to the PBRC judges to determine. Car must drive full speed run pass and return to drive back under its own power.
- Ejected GPS device = Disqualified pass. NO EXCEPTIONS. Don’t email me these.
- Must show motor/esc/battery/build before and after every pass.
- NO CUTS/EDITS! Cuts and edits during a speed run will be an auto DQ. No exceptions.
- Fast Forward OK. (but I will check frame by frame….)
- Scoreboard Sunday July: 5,12,19,26 and the WINNERS announced August 2nd.
- Entry cutoff is Saturday: 4,11,18,25 at 9:00 a.m. PDT. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- Any entry as of Saturday: 4,11,18,25 at 9:01 a.m. PDT and later will move to the following week.
- Use provided affiliate links to help cover the cost of this event. They don’t cost you anything and they help pay for the prizes, the shipping, and the production required to hold this event.
- Support the people that are supporting us: Use the provided links to show support to the excellent companies that sponsored this event.
- If I haven’t responded to your email within 24 hours. FOLLOW UP! That means I didn’t get it.
- Only upload your build and PB vids to the Fb group. Non Pb’s will be removed.
