It seems the February 2026 Nintendo Direct rumors have taken another huge turn. From the Legend of Zelda series, to third-party games like Metaphor, a WWE game, and even Pokémon Gen 10 leaks connected to Pokémon Day and a possible February 2026 Pokémon Presents. All of these things may not end up happening, or at the very least we may only see first-party games along with recent Nintendo Switch Online additions.
Of course, there are also other rumors and leaks involving The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess, Ocarina of Time, and Wind Waker HD, which could still appear at a later Nintendo Direct. We also talk about expectations surrounding the first Nintendo Direct of 2026, the February 2026 Nintendo Direct.
Even if we don’t get a Direct this month, third-party games like Monster Hunter Stories 3 and Dragon Quest show that Nintendo Switch 2 is shaping up to be a very good year. This doesn’t even count other Nintendo Directs in 2026, with the February 2026 Nintendo Direct possibly coming soon. I still have hope for a Zelda 40th anniversary Direct as well.
Other things we could see this year include games like Splatoon Raiders, along with recently leaked titles such as High on Life 2, and possibly Final Fantasy XIV and Monster Hunter Wilds.
