he very first KTM Factory Edition in 2012 was an advance release of the 2013 model, which was completely different from the one that was currently homologated for AMA racing. That allowed Ryan Dungey to race with the very latest hardware without violating the production rule. In later years, the Factory Edition tradition continued whether or not the upcoming KTM model featured any updates--it would sometimes get just an Akropovic exhaust, some bling and an orange frame. There has never been a year that it was seriously upgraded for the sake of performance alone--until now. The 2026 ½ Factory Edition has premium level suspension components; the WP XACT PRO 7548 fork and WP XACT PRO 8950 rear shock. The Xact Pro fork--often referred to as the Cone Valve fork, has steel coil springs as well as the cone-shaped mid-valve. The springs are set up for a rider between 165 and 187 pounds.

* Red Bull graphics
* An orange frame
* Frame protectors
* A WP holeshot device
* The Connectivity Unit Offroad
* Orange CNC split triple clamps
* Black Engine mounts
* A gripper seat cover
