The 2026 Kia EV9 is the three-row electric SUV that finally makes seven seats affordable, starting at $54,900 and now built in the United States. It seats seven, is rated for up to 305 miles of EPA range on the Light Long Range, and rides an 800-volt platform that charges from 10 to 80 percent in about 24 minutes. In this review we walk through the design, the twin-screen cabin, the second and third rows, the 81.7 cubic feet of cargo, the charging, towing and the full price ladder, then put it up against the Rivian R1S and its own cousin the Hyundai Ioniq 9 to show exactly where it wins.
