2026 JAC Hunter PHEV review: 0-100 & POV test drive (pre-production). The JAC Hunter is the plug-in hybrid version of the T9 dual-cab ute. It is currently the most powerful of its kind, with 360kW, while offering an electric range of 100km and a combined claimed range of 1005km. It features live axle rear suspension with coil springs, independent front suspension, front and rear diff locks, various drive modes and off-road modes, as well as 220mm of ground clearance and 28-degree approach and 30-degree departure angles. It goes on sale in Australia from "under $50,000" according to JAC, and will come covered by a 7-year/unlimited km warranty, and 7 years capped-price servicing.
