GCIC has graduated the final cohort of its Global Affairs Canada-funded SURGE programme, celebrating 20 climate-smart businesses advancing innovation across energy, waste, agriculture, and water systems.
Over five years, SURGE has supported 140 enterprises, creating 2,107 jobs, generating $12.4M+ in revenue, reaching 5.7M+ customers, and avoiding over 832,000 metric tons of CO₂ emissions.
As the programme concludes, GCIC remains committed to scaling locally led solutions that drive sustainable growth and climate resilience across Ghana.
