Had the day off and wanted to try out my new https://x.com/onxoffroad app and see how FSD v13.2.9 would handle some off roading. Did not get as much of a change to try that out during https://x.com/D0li0/status/1910180782175617443 20250505 Spring CyberJamboree near Lyda Camp youtu.be/D_W0L1DblXM in Tillamook Forest. So, I headed up to a route (webmap.onxmaps.com/offroad/share/content?share_id=01JWW51P65CSTE0GSJ9TN9QA7T) I had created near North Bend past Ellisville & Ernie's Grove to N Fork Rd, Fury Lake rd, Lennox Creek. I let FSD do the driving for about an hour and 10 minutes, around 15 miles of forest service roads (Difficulty:Easy 1/10) nearly all the way up. It took it's time and didn't avoid pot holes very well, was pretty rough in on-road Beast mode. * 0:35:45 Switching from ATT Cellular to StarLink in hopes to get nav map satellite data grid 37:30 to fill in.
* 1:03:30 Last Bridge - FSD Starts to get twitchy on narrow trails. First Disenguage due to sharp pot hole at bridge transition
* 1:03:50 FSD is only now getting a little twitchy as the trail is more narrow now
* 1:04:36 Giving up on FSD at this point as trail is very narrow and loose, It actually made it pretty far on this trail.
* 1:06:57 Giving up: see some wash out ruts best last change to turn around
* 1:08:10 Heading down, into Off-Road: Overland Manual driving, try to make better time
* 1:10:27 Full Human Driver v1.34.49
* 1:20:05 passed three motorcycles
* 1:21:09 Red Bridge
* 1:23:00 Meet White Pickup
* 1:35:38 Pull off to switch off StarLink and back to Cellular Tether.
* 1:43:26 Have a little fun in Off-Road: Baja 100% Rear Bias, Stability:Min Doin some donuts.
* 1:50:46 Back on blacktop now, back street mode Do a little Full Human Driving
