Here’s my latest #garden update on the #farm, y’all. It’s been sad losing the baby birds, but several lived. So far, I’ve only lost 2 plants, a new geranium that didn’t flower and last year’s blueberry bush I’d overwintered in a pot. KY weather was too much for it. My mailbox planter isn’t as festive this summer since I don’t have any Cosmos, but the button flowers are helping to satisfy the butterflies and bees. 2 of my fancy striped Geraniums are growing well, but may need more sun. I think the shallots need to be pulled and eaten now that they are laying down. Not sure about my fingerling potatoes yet. Our tomato plants have produced a few since we purchased last month from the plant sale at @eku_horticulture_club. I’m always learning, despite not being a large scale gardener. I am currently attempting to save my Petunia seeds to see if I can sneakily plant them next year around my shaded driveway entrance. Hubby might not like that though. 😂 Stay cool, de-stress in healthy ways, grab some peace when you can and keep on living! Sparkle on! ✨
