Previous research from the MIT FutureTech lab developed a framework for understanding in which circumstances quantum computing will provide significant advantages to businesses, and when traditional computing will be the more economical choice. Building on this work, the team has used various quantum computer roadmaps to assess what happens when algorithms from chemistry, deep learning and data science are deployed on various hardwares.
During lunch, attendees will have an opportunity to test this framework using a tool developed by FutureTech that models these choices.
