2025 Mazda MX-5 Fuel Economy Test: Real World MPG Results! ⛽🚗

In this #shortsvideo I put the 2025 Mazda MX-5 Roadster through a real-world highway fuel economy test to see how this lightweight convertible performs outside of Mazda’s official ratings. During my back-to-back highway runs at ~115 km/h (70 mph), I tested the MX-5 soft top both with the roof closed and the roof down:
🔹 Top Closed: Averaged 6.8L/100 km → 34.6 MPG 🌿
🔹 Top Down: Averaged 7.1L/100 km → 33 MPG 🌞

The results show that the 2025 Mazda MX-5 fuel economy is very close to Mazda’s advertised numbers — proving this roadster isn’t just fun on twisty roads, but also efficient enough for long drives.
