Obviously, the key difference in performance is the higher CPU power pull of the Legion Pro 7i when under max crossload (both CPU/GPU engaged to the max).

I also did some secondary tests when the Scar 18 today on 7/3/2025, when the Scar 18 significantly underperformed vs the Legion Pro 7i in the original Livestream. This sometimes yielded impressive improvements, and sometimes worse performance... The values updated were Baldur's Gate 3, Witcher 3, and Monster Hunter Wilds. So I would say that the Asus Firmware team has some work to push the CPU to higher limits when under a dual load. That seems to be the key difference here. The memory speed with AIDA64 seems very close, even though one is 5600 vs 6400. Overall, this could also be silicon lottery as well. Up to 5% variance up or down is to be expected as well (10% total swing range).
